My first stop was Munich, I was visiting a close friend, and we did attend Beyonce Renaissance Tour in Hamburg afterwards. So below, you can see a quick list for both cities.
First of all lets start with Munich, what to do's?
Definitely visit the Marienplatz and Graggenau, these are crowded areas, so dive in.

"Marienplatz"
If you want more nature experience, then you should give a chance to Court Garden, maybe a little picnic there or to watch lake surfers, you can visit the English garden and be amazed.
Another great area you can explore, dine and shop is Frauenplatz, which I liked the most actually. In addition to this, do see the Gartnerplatz.

The monuments you may want to see are Kreuzviertel, Zahnarzte im Asamhof, The Munich Cathedral,
Now I can talk about a food and great restaurants of Munich.
Gigi was a very cool Italian restaurant, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was really chic.
Another fancy restaurant was Restaurant Atlantik, you may want to try the lobster there.

Now we can start the Hamburg experience, we only spent a day there, so I may not be able to discover most of it. But to share, here are some tips.
The must see's
St Nikolai, Kunsthalle, Elbphilarmonie, Rathaus, St Michael's Church and Chilehaus. The architecture of these monuments and buildings will definitely amaze you.
You may want to see the city through a boat trip.

"St Nikolai"
Have a brunch at Cafe Paris, eat a lunch at Restaurant Parliament and before that visit the Parliament building. Dinner at Bullerei.

"Tide Treibholz & Feinkost"
Another great brunch spot is Tide Treibholz & Feinkost
Hope you will enjoy both cities more than I do.
